The Long Beach High School Concert Choir, under the direction of Tammy Carney has been invited to perform November 16, 2026 for the 2026 ACDA/MMEA Music Conference This year, the ACDA board received a record number of submissions representing a wide range of ensemble types, voicings, and age levels from across the state. Evaluators remarked that the level of artistry and teaching reflected in the recordings was truly impressive, making the selection extremely competitive. Our Long Beach Concert Choir is the only High School SATB choir selected among 8 performing choirs. Ms. Carney states that this is a performance of a lifetime for our students and looks forward to sharing our conference concert set at the Fall Concert at the LBHS PAC on October 1 before performing in Hattiesburg in November.
