CTE Digital Media Student Tour WXXV
A group of Long Beach High School LBTV students and staff pose behind the WXXV 25 news anchor desk during a station tour. The group stands in front of large video screens displaying the WXXV 25 logo inside a professional television studio. Studio lighting, cameras, and production equipment are visible around the set. Students gathered information about broadcasting, including news production, weather, advertising, lighting, camera placement, and television software, as part of a hands-on learning experience.

Long Beach High School CTE Digital Media, LBTV & Bearcat Broadcast Network students, had an incredible opportunity to tour WXXV 25 and get a behind-the-scenes look at how a professional television station operates!

Students asked questions and gathered valuable information about software programs, advertising, weather production, news operations, lighting, camera placement, and so much more.

This hands-on experience gave students a real-world look at the broadcasting industry and the many careers that make television possible.

These future broadcasters are gaining skills, building knowledge, and learning the ropes while still in high school. Experiences like this help prepare them to take their talents to the next level and step confidently into college and career opportunities after graduation.

Thank you to WXXV 25 for investing in our students and providing such an educational and engaging experience!
